Trusting the Universe

This week I’m chatting about a bit about myself in my first solo episode - turns out you want to know more about who I am and my life story, which is fun! I’m also sharing a pretty personal, but beautiful, story about the universe giving me a sign when I really needed it. I hope it inspires you to trust in the universe, too. I’m also sharing a new segment called “Late to the Party” which couldn’t be more fitting for me, haha!

Oh, and last week I ended the podcast singing a tune and couldn’t remember how I knew it. I was right, it was from an Olsen twin movie, specifically Mary-Kate and Ashley’s Ballet Party. Listen to Butterflies in Your Stomach here.

If you’d like to watch a few of my Daily Vice pieces I mentioned in the episode, you can check them out here.

And, don’t forget to follow my new favourite human EVER: the one and only Dylan Mulvaney. Follow her on TikTok too! I also found a couple cool facts about her on her website, and on this E News online piece.

As always, thank you for being here! If you’d like to stay in touch between episodes, you can follow me at @findingsparklechasinglight (DM your universe stories here!) or @nicolebreanne.

My First Owl Sign at 38 Weeks Pregnant (referenced in the podcast)

After finally spending a week desperately searching for my “owl sign,” I finally gave up and stopped looking. A few days later I went to have a relaxing epsom salt bath and opened instagram to see this post. I immediately knew Remy was coming late, and that she was going to be a Sagittarius! A wave of relief washed over me. Image from @moonomens on instagram.

Owls in Labour! (referenced in the podcast)

I walked into the hospital, deep into active (back! ouch!) labour and this was painted on the wall of the Family Birthing Centre at St. Joe’s. I couldn’t believe it! Of course the universe wanted to sprinkle one last reminder that everything was going to be okay.
